Vihar has extensive experiences with helping small to mid size companies in managing and litigating their employment and intellectual property issues. Vihar focuses on ensuring compliance with regulations and litigating with primary focus on the client’s business agenda.

Vihar has lectured and published on various topics relating to employment and intellectual property law. Most recently, Vihar published an article entitled “Are patented research tools still valuable? Use, intent and a rebuttable presumption: A proposed modification to the FDA exemption from patent infringement under 35 USC § 271 (e) (1).” Vol. 47 IDEA 405 (2007) and co-authored West’s and IPLAC’s publication of “Claim Construction in the Federal Circuit” 2006 Edition. Vihar combines his knowledge of the business, law, science and technology to develop creative solutions for his clients. Based in Chicago, Vihar obtained a Masters of Law in Intellectual Property from DePaul University School of Law (3.71/4.00 gpa), a JD from Southern Illinois University School of Law with Oral Advocacy Honors and a selection to the Moot Court Team, and a B.S. in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is also fluent in Gujarati and conversant in French.
