Howard Schickler joined Enterprise Law Group as of Counsel attracted by its entrepreneurial, value-added approach to the practice of law, and its commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective legal services.

He was a Partner at Sachnoff and Weaver in Chicago before serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a publicly traded corporation.  Prior to becoming an Attorney, Mr. Schickler had a successful career as a Portfolio Manager and Institutional Securities Salesperson for several prominent securities firms.

He has handled a wide range of securities and venture capital matters, acquisitions and divestitures, and other business and financial transactions for emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, established businesses and venture capitalists.  Mr. Schickler's practice encompasses formation and structuring of start-up enterprises, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, and similar transactions. In the area of securities law, his work includes initial public offerings, venture capital fundings, public and private offerings of debt and equity, investment partnerships, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and compliance matters.

Mr. Schickler received his J.D., Cum Laude, from Northwestern University Law School.  He was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif and served on the Northwestern Law Review. He earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
